distylerie is a team of strategists, designers, and motion specialists in Zurich, founded and led by Damien Julien (Brand & Creative Director). We combine strategic depth and design precision under one roof – from brand strategy and visual identity to motion and 3D.

The core is a focused team of around six to seven experts. Everyone shares a background in branding – through training, experience, or both – and each brings a distinct specialisation. For larger undertakings we scale to 15–20 people through a curated network of partners. That way we assemble a tailored team for every project – no more and no less than it needs.

Every role is clearly defined: brand strategy, UX/UI design, corporate design, 3D, motion design, and verbal identity. This range lets us think a brand through end to end – from positioning to finished application – without handover losses between agencies.

We don’t design logos, we build brand systems. Everything starts with the brand essence – the unmistakable core of your brand. From there we derive strategy, visual identity, and every application, so your brand stays consistent across all touchpoints. Award-winning (Red Dot, iF, German Design Award), but never for its own sake.

We work across industries – from robotics and technology to mobility, hospitality, education, culture, and start-ups. What matters isn’t the sector but the ambition to build a brand with substance and impact.

The brand essence is a brand’s strategic and emotional core. It defines what a brand stands for and how it’s perceived. At distylerie it’s the starting point for brand strategy, corporate design, and communication – creating consistency rather than coincidence.

Yes. We’re based in Zurich (Zentralstrasse 118, 8003 Zürich) but work across Switzerland and internationally – remotely and on-site. Many of our projects reach well beyond Switzerland.
