We all have a background in and passion for brand design, but each of us has a clear area of expertise, such as UX/UI, motion design, or 3D design. This is the distylerie core team, and, if necessary, we bring our network on board to help meet your needs.

With over 15 years of experience in brand design, Damien studied graphic design and typography in La Chaux-de-Fonds before spending seven years at international agencies such as Interbrand and Metadesign. During this time, he developed projects for clients including BMW, Actelion, Art Basel, Lucerne Festival, Schindler, and many more.

He then founded distylerie to bring his own vision of branding to life. His understanding of branding spans from definition and concept to realization. In doing so, he relies on elaborate and experimental design that creates powerful experiences and moves people.

Damien Julien

Brand & Creative Director

Sarah trained as a graphic designer at the Wave agency in Lucerne. Thanks to an international scholarship from the Leonardo Foundation, she was able to expand her practical experience in London, among other places.

She always brings a generous helping of openness and curiosity to the projects she works on. Sarah enriches the distylerie team with her strength in implementing design concepts in a way that’s specific to media and target audience.

Sarah Wucherpfennig

Brand designerin / UX UI

Florian is a trained graphic designer and enjoyed a bilingual upbringing in Ticino. In his adopted home of Zurich, he gained a great deal of experience in advertising and communications agencies and has already worked for major national and international clients.

He expresses his creativity not only through design but also through photography. At distylerie, he enjoys the good coffee and skilfully uses his strengths in image editing and creating visuals with 3D programs and Photoshop.

Florian Klein

Brand designer / 3D Artist

Nick is the youngest member of the distylerie team and responsible for giving designs depth and bringing them to life through motion and 3D animation. What fascinates him about his work is being able to create a composition that tells a great story.

Nick is currently working on his Bachelor’s degree in Visual Effects & 3D Animation (VFX). In his spare time he enjoys experimenting with different software tools and exploring the world on and beneath the water through photography.

Motion & 3D designer

Lara is a brand consultant who enhances the distylerie team with her expertise in client relations, project management, strategy, and concept development. She finds the most fulfilment in strengthening businesses and fostering impactful projects.

With over 15 years of experience in brand management and campaign concepts, Lara has been involved with her own agency since 2018, focusing on marketing and brand partnerships in the entertainment and corporate sectors. Her varied background equips her to navigate complex branding landscapes and offer her strategic expertise at distylerie.

Lara Bliggensdorfer

Brand Management & Development

Micaela studied Linguistics and Organisational Communication at ZHAW. She is a co-founder of the social start-up Plentii, where she is responsible for marketing and communications.

At distylerie, she is primarily involved in brand strategy and concept development, where she sees language as a powerful tool in making the brand vision clear to all stakeholders, resulting in a strong visual presence.
